The Knowledge of AyurVeda is as beautiful as it is ancient. The Vedic Wisdom illuminates the origins and influences of Nature and the Laws of Nature within our physiology and the known Universe.

AyurVeda has been documented prior to the Second Century BC.  In the last few centuries, modern science and technologies have been and continue to substantiate much of the written Vedic texts in relation to human biology, physiology, microbiology, metabolism, chemistry, physics, quantum physics, and cosmology.

(Five Great Elements - The Composition of Life)

The Great Elements in Science

The great elements can be seen as their primary atomic and chemical constituents.

SPACE: Hydrogen, Helium, Oxygen, Neon, and Nitrogen...

AIR: Nitrogen, Oxygen, and Hydrogen...

FIRE: Hydrogen, Oxygen, Carbon, and Nitrogen...

WATER: Hydrogen and Oxygen...

EARTH: Nitrogen, Calcium, Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, and Potassium...

The same elemental makeup of the Pancha MahaBhutas is also found in human physiology, other living organisms, and non-living objects.  According to AyurVeda, these elements have specific qualities and governing intelligences.

One fundamental perspective of the understanding of, "We are one with the Universe," is that we are all made up of the same elements and are connected by the same qualities and laws of nature and science that govern and bring balance to us all.

As is the human body, so is the cosmic body

As is the human mind, so is the cosmic mind

As is the microcosm, so is the macrocosm

As is the atom, so is the universe
